Character Profile - Elric, Human Artificer

Elric was the son of two librarians who taught him that the only true power came from knowledge and the tomes and librams they kept there at the library. Believing this to be false he left his the safety of his home to forge new knowledge though experience of the world. Through living among the wilderness and seeing the exotic lands beyond simple descriptions found in the yellowed pages of dusty old tomes.
  He still holds sacred the written word and has found a strength within its arcane complexities. He strives to learn and know as much as there is to know, but sometimes his lust for knowledge comes at a price.
