A Nameless Ally

Having beaten their competition to a pulp, literally. The party rests to recover from the previous night's exploits. The festering wounds from the warerat's bite on both Lyka and Lia show signs of recover and their fevers break with the Healing expertise of Elric and Rhys.

Twilight returns to the city and the party turns to the manor house at the north end of town, looking to strike the head of the city, and hoping that with out it the goblins wouldn't form such a threat.

Hu-Jat, the hobgoblin leader awaited their arrival with open threats and an obvious superiority complex. The battle began with Hu-Jat's rage drake mount dying in a bust of hellish flames.

Nameless had wakened to the darkness of the manor's many rooms, unable to comprehend the reason for his being there, only that the Power that gave him his magic wanted something close by and thus sent him to retrieve it. He remembered bits and pieces of the last few days, wandering though the Southern reaches of the Nentir Vale, the Harken Forest and making a straight line to the ruins of Kiris Dahn. Lead by more instinct and an insatiable urge for something he had no knowledge of. Then more recently he was captured when a horde of goblins accosted him outside the city. His ire was directed fully upon those that would hinder his master's progress.

With the help of Nameless, the group soon dispatched the hobgoblin, allowing the escape of two of the manor guards so the word would spread of Hu-Jat's demise.

Nameless didn't know it consciously but for some reason he was drawn to remain with the group. Someone wanted him with them, for the time being at least.
